"I completed training for my new job, '25B Information Technology Specialist' for the Army. I was sent to an accelerated course that condensed 4 months of training into 2 months.
We were taught the fundamentals of user and intermediate devices (computers and devices that connect computers together), the fundamentals of a computer network, covered a large portion of the Cisco Certified Network Assistant (CCNA) certification course, as well as covering information in ComTIA Security+ certification course.
I have also started my 3rd year of my Bachelors degree and hope to obtain it during our time in South Korea."

"I spent these last two months in Berne while Daniel was at training at Camp Robinson. We will be in New York until mid-August, when we will come back to Berne before moving overseas.
I only have two classes left, economics and government, before I complete my Associates degree in Human Services. I hope to start my Bachelors in Social Work this fall/winter.
I will usually have a separate blog post for my monthly book reviews, but since I am a couple months behind, they will be included in this post.
For the month of May, I read:
-All Your Perfects
-Then She was Gone
-The Invisible Life of Addie Larue
-No Exit
-The Lying Game
-Ugly Love
-Layla
-November 9
-The Woman in the Window
-Oliver
-Clap When You Land
-My Name in Selma
My top two books from May were Oliver and My Name is Selma. Oliver is the true story of a dog who was kidnapped from his owner, and the journey of how he was found and they were reunited. My Name is Selma is a true story as well. Selma was a Jew who survived the Holocaust by becoming a spy, and went undercover as a German. It is a fascinating story!
For the month of June, I read:
-The Blossom and the Firefly
-Olive Kitteridge
-Without Merit
-Confess
-Regretting You
-Olive, Again
-The Inheritance Games
-A Matter of Days
-What I Carry
-No Pain No Gaines
-Pretend She's Here
-Under the Tulip Tree
-Are We Together?
-Watch Over Me
-You Have a Match
-You Were Never Here
I really enjoyed The Inheritance Games and Under the Tulip Tree! The Inheritance Games honestly had a twist that I did not see coming, and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, I did not put the book down! Under the Tulip Tree is about a journalist back during the Great Depression who was assigned to interview a former slave. It was a very heartbreaking story but an excellent read!"
