2025 Reading Goals!

I thought I would start the year off strong, especially since I no longer have college to think about, but God had other plans for January! In the middle of the month I came down with a bad virus, probably a mix of a cold, walking pneumonia, and the-sickness-that-cannot-be-named (I feel like we are talking about Voldemort here). I knew it was bad when I had no desire to read anything for 10 days! But now I feel like I am starting to get back into the swing of things, and cannot wait to dive into my reading lists!

For 2025, I would like to read 200 books, but this year I have at least 50 titles written down to read. I have plenty of specific books that I own or want to read, and I think the best way to get me to actually read them is to add them to a written list that I get to cross them off of! The main list is just a variety of 25 books, and then there are five lists of fives books each to add more variety into my (already broad-ranging) reading.

Since I am slowly getting back into crocheting, I have added five audiobooks to my list! But I am picky about which audiobooks since I found out that I can only listen to ones that are read aloud by the author themselves. I wanted to add some fun, and some easy, series to read to help me break up my mostly nonfiction reading list (aside from the classics). Plus, I have not actually read the entire Harry Potter series yet (but I have watched all the movies a couple times now). Most of these books (except the audiobooks) have come recommended to me through podcasts I like, or through some of my favorite authors, so find one to pick up and read this year and let me know what you think!
