About Our Family

Thank you for viewing our blog! 

Our background... Our roots are in Indiana. Berne is our "home back in Indiana." We both attended a church there, and that is where we met! Daniel and I were good friends for several years before we started dating in 2018. There were several years of long distance dating since Daniel joined the Army back in December 2016. After our wedding in December 2020, I moved back up to Fort Drum, where he had been stationed. Later this summer, we will be moving overseas for a couple years.

Our vision for this blog... I wanted to create a space where we could always keep family and friends updated, and where I could write about all different topics! Our first goal is to keep you updated on what has been going on recently in our lives, no matter I hope to share about the books I read each month, and my review on ones that were 5 stars. The portfolio will have pictures added here and there so you can see what we have been up to and the culture overseas.
